Connected by the Overseas Highway, they're a necklace of tropical jewels strung over liquid satin of brilliant blues and greens. I don't get there often enough, but I can visit whenever I pick up a paintbrush. This painting was inspired by a swim in the bathtub-warm waters off Bahia Honda, which has a lovely, white sand beach."
